Dylan Valade

President

When he is not training companies or designing websites, Dylan loves spending time with his daughters Ava and Chloe and wife Meghann. You'll find Dylan active year round. During the winter he's on the slopes skiing, snowboarding and playing hockey. When the ice melts it's time for waterskiing, surfing, soccer, biking and fishing. If the weather won't behave it's nice to be inside playing bluegrass music or oil painting.

Dylan specializes in Digital Strategy and Online Marketing Training. He spends most of his coding time in JavaScript.

A graduate of Miami University in Oxford, Ohio earning a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science & Systems Analysis. Dylan also minored in Fine Art, specializing in drawing and painting. Dylan began developing Web sites professionally in 2000 for the Taft Museum of Art in Cincinnati. He then moved from Brighton, Michigan to Glenwood Springs, CO to work as a Web Designer. In 2004, Dylan left the Western Slope to start Sungem in Breckenridge, CO. After four years in Breck, Dylan relocated to northern Michigan.

Matt Borgman

Matt enjoys skiing, running (he finished a marathon), the outdoors, reading, trying new restaurants and traveling.

Matt's expertise is in Web platform strategy and execution. He is an expert in front-end, server and database development. Due in part to his experience at Citigroup, Matt is responsible for overseeing the development of custom database applications created by Sungem. His latest research has been focused on Angular JS, Node.js and JavaScript templating. When he's not programming at Sungem, you will find Matt at UnitOneNine in downtown Chicago building custom sites and apps for top consumer brands.

Matt graduated from Miami University in 2003 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science & Systems Analysis with an emphasis on interactive media. Matt moved to Cincinnati, OH after graduation to continue Web design and development with his own firm, Twentyfourseven Studios.

In 2004, Matt moved to New York City where he worked for Citigroup in its Private Bank and Global Wealth Management divisions. While at Citigroup, Matt was responsible for developing the business' strategy for some of its public-facing, client, and internal Web sites and applications. He focused on integrating with an enterprise content management system. Matt left Citigroup in 2007 to join Sungem.

Paul has lived in Northern Michigan since 2002 where he loves all things computers. During high school Paul built his first computer & website and has been hooked ever since. Paul’s skills are largely focused in front-end development with a touch of back-end magic to connect it all together. In his free time, Paul can be found browsing the Internet, programming, and reading about the bleeding edge of technology. Paul attends Michigan Technological University in Houghton where he is working on a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering.
